The leadership of Trinity are members of the body of Christ. People serve for one, two, or three years at a time, work on various Committees, which facilitate the work of the church. The committees are incredibly important to our life, ministry and missions.

Congregation Council: Meets monthly on the 2nd Tuesday, 7:00 pm. We support the congregation by helping facilitate its mission and vision. The Lutheran church is unique in its basis because everything it does comes from the congregation - we are in God's work together.
Care and Health meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 6:10 p.m. We help facilitate healthy lifestyles. We share opportunities for folks to learn about proper nutrition, exercise, blood pressure screenings, positive relationships, and well-being of the body, mind, and spirit. We care for the spiritual life of our family of faith. Members assist the Pastor in determining how best to meet spiritual needs and concerns of the congregation. Members promote church membership and visit with prospective new members within 72 hours.
Worship and Music: Meets the 1st Thursday at 7:00 p.m. We plan for the worship services throughout the church year. We work together with the Pastor on how we "do" worship; plan special worship events; help determine worship schedules; make suggestions regarding artwork and banners, as well as other items displayed in the sanctuary and gathering area; and make provision for the upkeep and maintenance of our instruments and sound equipment.
Altar Guild: We meet to care for the furnishings used during worship. We meet throughout the church year at scheduled times. See the bulletin or online calendar for specific dates and times. Members care for the chancel area and its furnishings; make communion bread; fill and wash communion vessels; care for the linens; clean and polish the brass pieces; hang banners appropriate for the church year; make provision for candles and candelabra used at weddings; decorate for the seasons of Christmas and Easter; and assist the Worship and Arts board when necessary.

Stewardship & Giving: meets throughout the church year. Dates and times are determined. We make decisions involving the investment of funds, principle funds, interest and endowments given to the church. We also encourage regular, proportionate giving from the congregation; conduct regular programming to encourage generosity to the ministries of the synod and churchwide communities.
Piecemakers (quilts, blankets, sewing projects for Lutheran World Relief): meet at 9:00 AM every Thursday. We accept all types of materials to cut, piece together, and sew blocks into quilt tops. We add batting and a back to each quilt. We tie blankets and finish sewing. We do other types of sewing projects too. Most of the quilts are sent to Lutheran World Relief (LWR) and other to organizations. Everyone of any age is welcome to gather together, laugh and learn from each other.
Mutual Ministry meets the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. Mutual Ministry is purposefully focused on the mission of this congregation helping us to discern God’s will for our ministry within our congregation and community.
- The mutual ministry a small group of people who work intentionally and intensively in ways that the congregation as a whole cannot.
- They nurture and strengthen relationships within their group for the sake of the ministry and mission of the congregation.
- “Scanning” is an important part of the mutual ministry task. What is scanned is life within the congregation and the community. It is taking a broad vision of the whole picture of the congregation’s mission. The focus is always on the mission of the congregation.
- The mutual ministry committee has no “legislative powers” in the congregation but can share observations and make recommendations to the Congregation Council which they believe will strengthen and enhance the mission of the congregation.
